Surplus Auction

*** Please note that no St. John the Baptist Parish employee or member of their immediate family can bid on auction items. ***

State law prohibits Parish employees and members of employees’ immediate families from buying items at Parish surplus auction. This includes an employee’s spouse, children and their spouses, brothers, sisters, spouses of brothers and sisters, parents, and spouses’ parents.
The St. John the Baptist Parish Council will publicly auction surplus vehicles, heavy equipment, firefighting vehicles, spoils, and other surplus items beginning March 25, 2026 and ending at 9:45 AM Local Time on April 20, 2026. The auction will be held online at www.govdeals.com/sjbparish

Pick up must occur by June 4, 2026. Failure to pick up item by this date shall result in forfeiture of auction item.
Prospective participants may inspect surplus items at the specified location.
