BY VIRTUE OF AND IN OBEDIENCE to a WRIT OF SEIZURE AND SALE issued by the Fortieth Judicial District Court, in and for the Parish of St. John the Baptist, State of Louisiana, in the above entitled and numbered cause, bearing date of 3/3/2026, I will proceed to sell to the last and highest bidder at Public Auction WITH appraisement in the Administrative Parish Building (Council Chambers), 1811 West Airline Highway, LaPlace, Louisiana on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. the following described property, to-wit:

The property described in the Act of Mortgage is described as follows:

A certain tract of land described as the southern half of Lot 5D along Acosta Drive, being a portion of a larger tract of land (Tract 8 of Cornland Plantation Subdivision) and also being a partition of a portion of the Estate of Ernest Acosta, located on the west side of Acosta Drive and in Sec. 43, T11S, R6E, SED, E. of Ms. River, St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana, the boundary of said lot is more particularly described as follows:

For the point of reference;
Commence at the intersection point of the south right-of-way line of Kansas City Southern Railroad and the west right-of-way line of Acosta Drive;

Thence proceed south 01 degree 12 minutes 22 seconds east along the west right-of-way line of Acosta Drive a distance of 783.82 feet to a point and corner being the point of beginning (POB) and the southeast corner of said Lot 5D-1;

From said POB, proceed south 88 degrees 47 minutes 45 seconds west a distance of 76.14 feet to a point and corner being on an old fence line and the southwest corner of said Lot 5D-1;

Thence proceed north 01 degrees 12 minutes 22 seconds west along said old fence line a distance of 100.00 feet to a point and corner being on the old fence line and the northwest corner of said Lot 5D-1;

Thence proceed north 88 degrees 47 minutes 45 seconds east a distance of 76.14 feet to a point and corner being on the west right-of-way line of Acosta Drive and the northeast corner of said Lot 5D-1;

Thence proceed south 01 degrees 12 minutes 22 seconds east along the west right-of-way line of Acosta Drive a distance of 100.00 feet back to the POB, said Lot 5D-1 containing 0.17 acre.
