BY VIRTUE OF AND IN OBEDIENCE to a WRIT OF SEIZURE AND SALE issued by the Fortieth Judicial District Court, in and for the Parish of St. John the Baptist, State of Louisiana, in the above entitled and numbered cause, bearing date of 8/26/2025, I will proceed to sell to the last and highest bidder at Public Auction WITHOUT appraisement in the Administrative Parish Building (Council Chambers), 1811 West Airline Highway, LaPlace, Louisiana on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. the following described property, to-wit:
The property described in the Act of Mortgage is described as follows:
One certain piece or portion of ground, together with all the buildings and improvements thereon, and all the rights, ways, privileges, servitudes, appurtenances and advantages thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining situated in the Parish of St. John the Baptist, on the left bank of the Mississippi River, forming a part of Hope Plantation and designated on a plan made by D. F. Woods, July 22, 1919, showing the subdivision as:
Measuring sixty feet in length by a width or depth of two hundred feet; bounded on the front by a thirty foot road; in the rear by the property of G. D. Triche; on the river side by the Joseph Templain, and on the north by the remaining property of Joseph Templain.
WRIT AMOUNT: $23,101.95
TERMS: Certified funds or letter of credit, subject to any security interest, mortgage, lien, or privilege thereon superior to that of the seizing creditor.
