BY VIRTUE OF AND IN OBEDIENCE to a WRIT OF SEIZURE AND SALE issued by the Fortieth Judicial District Court, in and for the Parish of St. John the Baptist, State of Louisiana, in the above entitled and numbered cause, bearing date of 7/10/2026, I will proceed to sell to the last and highest bidder at Public Auction WITH appraisement in the Administrative Parish Building (Council Chambers), 1811 West Airline Highway, LaPlace, Louisiana on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. the following described property, to-wit:
The property described in the Act of Mortgage is described as follows:
Two certain pieces or portions of ground, together with all the rights, ways, privileges, servitudes, appurtenances and advantages thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, situated in the Parish of St. John the Baptist, State of Louisiana, situated in LaPlace, on the left descending bank of the Mississippi River, in Unit No. One of “LaPlace Park Subdivision”, being a subdivision of a portion of Track “G” of New Era Plantation, located in Section 19, Township 11 South, Range 7 East, Southeast Land District of Louisiana, East of the Mississippi River, according to a print of survey made by H.E. Landry, C. E., dated 07/19/1958, filed in the office of the Clerk of Court and ex-officio recorder for this parish, and according to said survey said lot is more particularly described as follows:
Lot No. Twenty-Five (25) of Square No. Five (5) measuring sixty (60) feet front on a street designated as Magnolia Avenue, by a depth on its South side of one hundred ten (110) feet, and a depth on its North side of one hundred ten (110) feet, and having a width on its rear line of sixty (60) feet; said lot being bounded on the front by Magnolia Avenue, on the South by Lot No. Twenty-Six (26) of Square Five (5), in the rear by Lot Nine (9) of Square Five (5), and on the North by Lot No. Twenty-Four (24) of Square Five (5).
WRIT AMOUNT: $105,817.47
TERMS: Certified funds or letter of credit, subject to any security interest, mortgage, lien, or privilege thereon superior to that of the seizing creditor.
